Carrinths Poem 'Remastered'

Twas the day before Christmas
and all through the tower
Secret Santa exchange
was the theme of the hour.

A present most odd
Beast Girl got from Kor
"What *is* this?" she asked
once it sat on the floor.

"Well," Kor explained
I have often seen
how you enjoy
those things which are green

and an animal present
seemed just perfect too!"
"But a wind-up monkey?"
"It made me think of you!"

Then Cyber from Robyn
graciously received
a whooping gift card.
But Beast Girl was peeved.

"Omigawd, that was cheap!
Clueless Kor at least tried!"
"I know where you sleep"
was Robyn's threatening reply.

Then, despite his distain
for all the holiday flurry
Revan, it seemed
opened his gift in a hurry!

And what to his wondering
eyes should appear,
but the elegant tea set
he'd wanted all year.

Cyber saw his face fill
with panic and doubt
"You don't owe me, Revan
That's what Christmas's about!"

Revan, of course
had no words to say,
but he did smile a little
that beautiful day.

Then Revan to Kor
gave a simple brown book
which was received
with a loud "Oh Glook!"

"Such a wondrous friend!
An excellent peer
who'd present a fine book
picturing swords and spears!"

Fighting off his pal's hug
Revan groaned, "Never again!"
As Cyber's camera clicked
and recorded the friends.

Last but not least,
was giddy beast girl
who had a special present
for Robyn to unfurl.

"What's with the giggles?"
Robyn asked as she tore
open the wrapping
not knowing what was in store

On seeing it's contents,
her face changed its hue
and the card said "These
are for both Kor and you!"

Quick as a wink,
the green bird took flight
as Robyn screamed
"You'll sleep with the fishes tonight!"

But let us now leave
this fun, awkward fray
and wish everyone
